The minera held stormy meetings in Scotland and Wales, and denounced the Triple Alliance leaders, especially Mr. Thomas.
Sections of the railwaymen are restive. Mass meetings at Carlisle awl Cardiff strongly condemned the Alliance's action. Two thousand men at. Cardiff threaten a sectional etrike unless the alliance is immediately re-established.
The London Dockers' Union supports the rp'norq and refuses to bunker imported coal-
LONDON, 18th April. A mass meeting of South Wales rail' Vf'ayroen at Cardiff demanded an imtnediate strike in support of the miners. Eventually it was decided to defer action for a week.
