! The Ladies' As«6cistion abo opened it* 1 season on Saturday afternoon. Several new teams have been added to the various Competitions, and the prospects of ladies' hockey are considered to be voi'y bright. Details of the games follow:— Senior A. Ramblers A3, Ramblers 80. Miss Wilkina scored all the goals for the winners. Referee, Mr. L. Boyd. Training College 5 (Miss Evans 4, Miss Cameron 1), Base Records 1 (Miss Jelly). Referee, Mr. G. Empson. Y.W.C.A. 3, University 2. Miss Fletcher (2) and Miss Twoomey scored for the winners, arid Miss Fbley scored both goals for the losers. Referee, Mr. J. C. Cusaok. Junior A. Audit 2 (Misses Wilkinson and Fisher) defeated St. Peter's 0. Referee, Mr. F. Spiers. junior B. University B 2 (Misses Maidley arid Metealfi) w«fe too ftood for Y.W.C.A. 0. R«ter»e, Mr. J. M'Kenzie.

A friendly game took place between teams representing the Hinemoa Club (Carterton) and the Ramblers Club (Wellington). The local girls played with great dash, and scored an easy victory by 7 goals to nil. The scorers were: Misses Williams (4), Wilkins (2), and Lang. Referee, Mr. A. Casey.
