NAVY LEAGUE
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE.
It was decided at a meeting of tha executive of the Navy League, held yesterday afternoon, Colonel Campbell presiding, that- tho annual meeting should be held on 4th April. Mr. R. Darroch reported that it had been decided.to form a boys' branch of the Nayy League, for the purpose of bringing into its organisation tho older youths from about 18 to 25 years of age, on line 6 similar to those of the girls' branch of the ladies' auxiliary. In regard to the entertainment of the officers and men of H^M.S. Chatham, it was decided that the special committee should arrange a luncheon for the men either in tho Town Hall or the Concert Chamber, the men of H.M.S. Philomel also to be invited, and that a. luncheon, be given by the men of the executive to the officers of tho two war vessels. Tho subcommittee set up for the purpose of considering- the reorganisation of the Navy League in New Zealand reported progress, and a set of bylaws drawn up by Colonel Campbell was read to the meeting.
