HUTT LICENSING COMMITTEE
The quarterly meeting 'of the Hutt Licensing Committee was held at Lower Hutt to-day, when there were present Messrs. M. W. Welch (in the chair), A. Anderson, W. Cotton, and C. Rainsfprd. The police report showed that all 'the hotels, with the exception of three, were well conducted. The Taita Hotel was fairly well conducted. The conduct of the Family Hotel, Lower Hutt, was veiy unsatisfactory, but as a transfer was being arranged, no action was taken. The Victoria Hotel, Petone, was only fairly well conducted, and in this case a, transfer from A. C. Priest to John M'Kechnie was recorded.
