FIRE ON A SCOW

TAURANGA, This Day. It was reported here this morning that the scow Moa, caught fire while lj'ing at Whakamarama Wharf, in Tnuranga Harbour, on Monday night. The hre was discovered in the forepart at seven o'olook, and was not got under till midnight. The damage was confined to the interior of the forepart. The" hull was undamaged. Temporary repairs will bo effected here, and the vessel will then be towed to Auckland. Tho Mod carries timber from her* to Auckland, «nd is owned by the Leyland-O'Brien Company.
