FURTHERING INTER-IMPERIAL TRADE. (ohitib rr.zit t.tetcnnon. —whmsbt.) (AUSTRALIAN • HEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION^ LONDON, 28th February. Sir Robert Home (President of the Board of Trade) presided at a Customs Conference. A]l the Dominions, India, and the colonies were represented, including Mr. Barkley (Australia) and Mr. Herd (New liealand). Sir Robert Home said that the war had brought Britain and the Dominions c|os.er, and it Was desirable to still fur* they remove the restrictions on interImporial trade. He hoped the Conference would produce a certificate of the origin of values and facilitate the exchange of goods on a uniform basis. '• It Is expected that the Conference will last a fortnight. ,
