NAPIER, Ist March.
The only criminal case before the session of the. Supreme Court which opened here to-day was'one in which Richarfi William Conglan was charged with indecently assaulting yoting girls. Accused pleaded guilty, and it was submitted on his behnlf that he wag of wejtk intellect. His' Honour accepted the evidence as to the weak-mindedness of accused, and attributed his crime to this ratUer'than to criminal purpose.' Accused was sentenced to three''months' imprisonment.
