WELLINGTON WOOLLEN CO.
The employees of the Wellington Woollen Company's Petone mills held their annual picnic at Maidstpne Park, Upper Hutt, on Saturday. " Between three and four hundred people were present and thoroughly enjoyed the outing, for which the weather was perfect. The following committee carried out, the picnic- arrangements: Misses Hurly, Chudleigh, and Fowlke, Messrs. Wrack, Brocklehurst, Clark, Foster, Hope, Effie, Price, and Size. Many prizes had been donated for competition, including trophies, from the directors of the company.
