NEW ZEALAND WOOL SALES
The Dunedin wool sale, set down for 21st February, was deferred to Ist March on account of the waterside dispute It has now been provisionally arranged for Bth March. Not until the Dunedin sales aro disposed of can the other sales be held, for the sequence has to bo observed. Wellington sales wero to have been held on 3rd March; but are not now likely to be held until ten days aftqr fchoac of Dunedin, whenever they take place. In any case oatalogues will definitely close here on 7th. March. It is expected ,that the aggregate catalogue will bo between 15,000 and 16,000 bales.
