Success attends each liorformancc of The Diggers now appearing at the Grani Opera House, and the reason is.'not far too to seek; each item of thoir programmes, whether serious or gay, is good, and tho management seems to havo a very happy knack ;of selecting juet the sort of thing that every audience wants and enjoys. Tho present bill contains many excellent sketches and nonsoneo numbers as-well as good vocal work. Stan Lawson, tho female impersonator, does consistently good work right >h.rough and, indeed, tlje samo remark applic* to oach member of the company. The svtitou will run till Saturday night.
