LONDON, 28th February. Advices from Harbin state that nonCommunist members of the Chita Assembly have, been prohibited all communication with the outside world. The peasant leader, in the Assembly, declared that the Far Eastern Republic would not allov^ foreign intervention, and would defend their Soviet motherland at all costs. He demanded the withdrawal of "foreign troops, as the republic must control Vladivostok, and continue the active suppression of the opposing forces.
