LONDON, 27th February. The question of pilfering was discussed at the annual meeting of the United Kingdom Chamber of Shipping, which' resolved to urge the Government authorities, employers,, and trades unions throughout the world to co-operate to prevent-the evil. The Chamber advocates more cheerful supervision, increase of police, and the infliction of adequate sentences on those convicted.
