The Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. Nosworthy) to-day announced that the control of prices in respect of apples in England had been removed by the. Imperial Government, as Was shown by the following cable from the High Commissioner' to the Now .Zealand Government: —"With reference to my letter of 2nd November, Ministry of Food have revoked apple prices order so that as from 14th February apples free: Ministry of Food announces that that step has been rrnriered possible by supplies still available and expected . increased quantities to. he shipped from Australasia— 1, •£■(>,Q'.'J cases compared with 830,000 cases last year. ihey add that, therefore, no reason to' apprehend any undue inflation of pn.rjs "
