"A HANDCUFF KING"
A big crowd gathered on the Queer's Wharf near D and E sheds at 1 p.m. to-day to see Levanlo, of Levante and Keech, now appearing at Everybody's Theatre,' jump off the wharf handcuffed, leg-ironed, and chained. Prior to Levante's rathor sensational jump or dive, Press representatives examined the handcuffs, shackles, and locks, and found them to all - appearances firmly locked, the handcuffs bsing of the regulation pattern. Levantc was under water for just under twenty second?, when lie re-appeared holding his shackles above the water. Ufa is * t-iaky-calling, but it obviously intercats the public.
