VANCOUVER, 25th February. At E^st Quincy, Illinois, four armed bandits held up the Chicago-Alton Express. They uncoupled the mail car, and rifled it, securing 125,000 dollare.
' WASHINGTON, 25th February. In view of the frequency and succees of mail robberies, the Postal authorities are of opinion that there is. a mastermind with an intimate knowledge of post office workings directing the robbers. .
