GARDEN FETE AT TRENTHAM.
A garden fete wUI be held on the Trentham. Racecourse on Saturday next, in aid of the Silverstream Church. Building Fund. In addition to variety and produce stalls there will be many varied side-shows, Aun(. Sally, hoop-la, pillowfighting, sports, races, and a picturesque display by , a-band of highly-trained children of Maypole and country dancing. Afternoon: tea will be provided. The proceeds are to go towards the erection of a schoolroom for day scholars on the church site, which has already been 1 purchased.
