State Department officials announce France's acceptance of the United States contentions regarding the division of the German cables. This makes the prospect of agreement more hopeful. The French Government has accepted the resolutions adopted by the December conference pro-' vidin? for a modus viveudi for the operation of the cables if agreement were not reached before 15th March.
