COUNCILLOR M'KENZIE'S CAMPAIGN." Councillor Leh. M'Kenzie addressing a meeting ,of residents of Karori last evening, outlined his reasons for standing, for the Mayoralty, and sought their support for his candidature. About forty were present. ? , Mr. B. G. H. Burn presided. Mr. M'Kenzie briefly sketched his proposals for the future progress* of the city., 'On the- motion of Mr.' Sykes, seconded by, Mr. Whithair, j those present formed themselves into a I committee to- work for the candidate's election. Mr. T. 'W. Hislop will address the citizens on municipal matters early next week at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown.
