T. L. Ralfe, formerly secretary of the North Otago Soldiers' Aid Association, pleaded guilty before Justices of the Peace of the theft and conversion to his own use of sums aggregating £663, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was not applied for. Of the total defalcation £197 has been refunded.
