MOURNE ABBEY AMBUSH

LONDON, 17th February. The official account of the ambush at MoUrne Abbey, near Mallow, states that the patrtSl surprised two men digging on the road and proceeded to arrest them, •when* they discovered forty civilians in aitlbtish. The latter were intercepted, nnd eight were killed and 'Others seen lo' fall.
