WASHINGTON, 17th Feb.
The State Department, has announced that strong remonstrances are to be made to 'China and Britain against the cancellation of the contract of the Federal Telegraph Company, an American concern, to elect a wireless installation 'nt Shanghai, where a British firm has taken action to compel China tc cancel the American contract, claiming that the formers holds the contract, which confers a monopoly for the erection •of wireless in China. It is understood ~that r the British Government is supporting the firm in its stand. • .
