INVERCARGILL, This Day. The wool sales were held, to-day. A catalogue of 5600 bales was submitted. The bulk was cleared at auction prices, being on a par with the recent Dunedin sales. Te result is regarded as very satisfactory.
Tho following was -the range of prices at the wool sales:—Merino, up to 18d; super half bred, to 12d; halfbred,. lid ; supor quarterbred, 12^-d; halfbred'wether, 12jd; super crossbred wether, 10id; half super crossbred • hogget, lljd ; ordinary crossbred hogget, Hid to lOdd crossbred ewe, 7id to 9id; matted and heavy, 5d to SJd; bellies itntt pieccn, 2sd to 6idi looks, up to lOd.
