MORE AGRARIAN RIOTS
LAND ACT AMENDMENTS ASKED FOR.

. (AUSTRALIAN • NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) DELHI, 19th January. Agrarian riots have again broken out in'the Fyzabad district of the United Provinces. Several houses have been destroyed, crops burned, landlords illtreated, and property damaged. Armed police were called'out, and sixty arrests were made.' The Governor sent a message ordering ihe immediate amendment of the present Land Act. Mr. B. S. Montague (Secretary of State for India) has cabled an Urgent request for the fullest information. v _
