THE FERVENT PRAYER.
Little Annette wm always very devout in saying a prayer- on entering church. As she had been taught no special pira.yer for the occasion, and her repertory was known to be limited, she was invited to tell ncr mother what she said.
"I always pray," Bhe replied, frankly, "that there mayn't be.a.Litany."
