H.M,S. LABURNUM.

LONDON, 2nd December. A fortnight ago the Admiralty announced, that tho sloop Verbena., would bo «ent out to New Zealand instead of tho Laburnum, which was originally selected to form pjirt of the Dominion Navy. It has now been decided, however, that the Verbena shall take the place of the Wistaria,, on the South African station, and that the Laburnum will go to New' Zealand, as ori, ginally decided. , At tho present time the Laburnum is at Deyonport,, Yfherp she is still undergoing repairs. 1J \ . Oonimander G. P. ■ Shejston, I^.N., who has been in command of tho Wistaria eince January last, will transfer to 'the Laburi num, aud will go out to New Zealand.
