AUCKLAND'S GROWTH

The total rateable valuation of Auckland city, exclusive of Grey I^ynn, for the : current year shows an increase of £136,140 over the total for the previous year (states the Auckland H/irakl). Lynn, £2916 ; old | valuations increased, £118,243, or 9.4 per cent. The total number of assessments this year was 19,719, and last veiir 16,779, an increase of nearly 300 C.
