REASON OF AMERICAN SALES

LONDON, 20th January. The Morning Post says that the buyers' revolt against the high price of English coal has been completely suet cessful.. Thanks to Hie Spa agreement, supplies .of American uoal were purchased ou long-term credits, with payments spread over a- number of years, for which the Frencli are raying interest at 6 per cent. French buyers say that if the English want their custom they must imitate the Americans.
