WELLINGTON CLUB'S MEETING . TO-MORROW The annual meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club will be held at Hutt Park to-morrow. The first event is set down for decision at 11.30 a.m. Trains will leave Lambton Station at. 8.20, 9.5, 10.0, 10.30, 11.10 a.m., 12.10, 1.20 p.m. A full taxi and charabanc service has been arranged by the club to run between the Petone Railway Station and the course. Author Dillon will not be brought up to attempt to lower the Australasian mile grass record, as his trainer considered he required a let-up after the West Coast trip. The Trial* Handicap field includes Logan Queen, from F. Holmes's stable, which supplied the winner of the race with Trix Pointer on a previous occasion. Logan Queen has been -enalised 4sec for a win at Cheviot last Saturday. Canterbury stables usually supply the winners q't a majority of the events at the local meeting.
The Hawera-trained Ramaroa is conceding his opponents ,4sec in the Borough Handicap, one mile and a half.
Hayseed, the only locally-owned- horse in the Gold Cup, has previously'been regarded as 4 sprinter. Queen Pirate comes from. Auckland, but most of the others represent Southern stables. They include Theseus and Maris Lloyd, who have recent winning form to recommend them.
Carbina. a Dunedin Derby candidate, is on the limit in the President's Handicap.
If reserved for the Wellington Handicap, Crusader, who is on the end, will be well supported.
Hiram Galindo and Marie Lloyd, who nut up good times when they won mile events at Westport and Greymouth during the holidays, are in the Stewards' Handicap, a mile event.
Doreen Dillon and William the First are on the front mark in the Electric Handicap.
