(12.80 p.m.), 160 tons, Gibson, for Patea r MANUKA, FOB SYDNEY. , The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Manuka left Wellington last night ;'or Lyttelton to continue the discharge of her cargo from Sydney. The vessel is due back at Wellington to-morrow morning, and will aail at 3 o'clock- to-morrow afteriioou on the return trip to Sydney and Hobart. There is every indication that the Manuka will be a full ahip when she sails for Sydney. RUAHINE IN PORT. The New Zealand Shipping Company's' liner Ruahine, from London and Southampton; via Panama, arrived in the stream at 8.30 o'clock this morning,. and after medical inspection berthed at the Glasgow Wharf. shortly after 1.30 o'clock this afternoon to disembark passengers. The Ruahine left Southampton on the 2nd December, and apart from tome rough weather while crossing the Atlantic, she experienced a fine and uneventful passage. She had a full complement of passengers in all classes. A list of those travelling in the saloon is given elsewhere. Captain E. T. Smith, who is in command of the Itnahine, has with him the following officers:—Chief, Mr A. B. Smith; second, Mr A. Wilson; third, Mr R. Pilcher; fourth, Mr S. Osmond; surgeon, Dr. J.. \V. Wall; chief engineer, Mr E. Wootton; second, Mr W, H. Parker; third, Mr J. Snell; fourth, Mr--A. Cox; chief steward and purser, Mr, W. T. Janes. ' After discharging the Wellington portion of her cargo the Ruahine will proceed to Auckland in about a week's time to complete.;^ The departure of the Komata for ;Wesir port with passengers and cargo has been postponed until 6 o'clock this evening. The Rosamond is due at Wellington to-night with timber and general cargo ■ from Greymouth and Westport The Union Company advises that the Mara, roa, leaving Napier on Saturday for Auckland, will make a call at Tokomarii Bay en route. It is expected that the barque Raupo will get away from Newcastle on Friday or Saturday with a cargo of coal for Wellington. • Bunkering operations on the Nitokris' are expected to be completed to-day, and. the vessel will leave Wellington at daybreak ' tomorrow for Antwerp. Cargo-laden for New Zealand ports the steamer Crosby Hall left the United Kingdom on the 14th January for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The Crosby Hall is due at Auckland on the 10th March, and a* Wellington a week later. She is to the agency of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line.
