VENTURA QUARANTINED IN
SYDNEY.
(SMITID PBSSS ASSOCIATION.—COPIRIOHT.) SYDNEY, 18th January. The "Ventura, from San Francisco, has arrived, and was quarantined owing to a case of smallpox on board. (Received January 19, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Ventura lias been quarantined for three weeks. There are 137 passengers, and the crew numbers 130. If they, are successfully vaccinated, some of'the passengers will be released in a few days.
