PERSONAL. | Captain W. Delley, who has been on holiday leave, has resumed command of the Wairau. Captain E. Burton, who was in temporary command of the vessel, has joined the Opawa as mate in place of Mr. W. McKinnon, who has come ashore.

Captain W. Cameron, late of the Maori, is to proceed to Dunedin by the Cape Natal for orders.

The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's liner Arawa is to leave Wellington at 5 o'clock this afternoon to complete Homeward loading at Napier and Timaru. She will return to nil up at Wellington before sailing from here on tho 3rd February for Southampton and London, via. Panama.

With a cargo of coal for the Railway Department the Port Stephens arrived' at Wellington at 7.50 o'clock last night from Newcastle, and berthed thi6 morning to commence discharge. The vessel is to proceed to Australia to load for Home.
