A PARTY WHICH WANTS POINCARE.
(UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPIT.IOHT.) LONDON, 17th January. The Daily Telegraph's Paris coraeeppndent states that the downfall of M. Leygues was not so much a repudiation of his or 'M. Briand satisfie,s tliose who made such protests, but a powerful section of both Houses,, especially the Conservatives, will not be satisfied until M. Poiiicare Premier. They believe that the full.demands of France will be safe in his hands. ;- PARIS, 17th January. . M.
