In the swimming championships of New South Wales the half-milo resulted: —Langer (America), 1; Beaurep.iiire (Victoria), 2; Cotton (Sydney), 3. Lanßer led all the way, and won by twenty-five yards. Time,,llmin 16 4-ssec. Longworth finished fourth. The hundred yards race resulted :— Kealoha- (Hawaii), 1; Herald (Sydney), 2; Beck (Sydney), 3. The winner led throughout! and won by two yards. Time, 56sec.
