Among the pictorial offerings at Shoxtt's Theatre is "Whispers," which depicts the experience of a girl (Elaine Hammerstein) who has become enmeshed in the scandal net due to the activities of the ■.vhisperers. The situations that ariae from this tangled skein provide an engrossing dramatic plot. A good programme is completed by a Co-operative Weekly and a New Zealand industrial picture.
