To-morrow evening, at the Grand Opera House, Messrs. J. and N. Tait will ■ present for the first time in the Dominion their new musical comedy company in the latest English, Ameri can, and Australian suooess, "Irene." It Ls described as a musical play with a plot, music that k melodious and catchy, and gorgeous dresses and dazzling settings. "Irene" has broken all records at the Criterion Theatre, Sydney, having been played for 150 consecutive performances, and it conies heralded by glowing reports of both play and players. A specUUy imported company includes Mies Dorothy South as Irene, the shopgirl who had the chance to wear beautiful clothes Hid become a fociety belle. Miss South, by her singing and charm ; 'has become the biggest favourite Sydney has known for years She is supported by Peggy Maloney and Marion Eai'le in comedy roles; Chester Clute as Madam Lucy, the "man modiste" ; Robert Jewett as the hero; Thomas Pauncefortc as the friend, and Henry ijprdnn.
