ABSCONDERS FROM BAIL
Two prisoners who wore awaiting trial at the Supremo Court—Myrtle May Reid and Sydney Swenssdn — have been discovered stowed away on the steamer Wiltshire, which left Wellington for London last Tuesday morning. Reid and Swensson were indicted on charges of bigamy, and Swensson upon an additional charge of false pretences, and after the -preliminary hearings at tho Magistrate's Court were each admitted to bail in tho sum. of £150. Tho master of tho Wiltshire ha 6 beon requested by wireless to 'transfer tho fugitives to a New Zealandbound vessel if possible.
In the circumstances the- trials of tho accused have been postponed till the next criminal sessions of tho court, three months hence. \
