CONTROL OF FOREIGN POLICY. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIGHT.) (AaSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) BUENOS AIRES, 9th October. Senor Pueyrredon (Foreign Minister of Argentina) and the delegation which, has sailed to attend the Geneva- Conference of the League of Nations, promised the Senate that any engagements Argentinacontracts will be subject to the approval of the Argentine Congress. President Irigoyen had not consulted the Senate regarding Argentina's adhesion to the League of Nations. The Senate resented this, and the only condition on which it would agree to Senor Pueyrredon's appointment -was that it should be consulted concerning future engagements.
