In accordance with the demand of the Entente Powers, the militarily organised Prussian police have been disbanded and replaced T>y local civil police, numbering 85,000. Each mac is armed with a sword, a revolver, and hand grenades ; a rifle is provided for every three men, and an armoured car and two machineguns for every twenty.
