PERSONAL Mr. R. Moody, formerly chief engineer of the Manuka, has rejoined that vessel, vice Mr. ■Albert Coad, who has come ashore. Mr. W. E. Wiggins, fourth engineer of the Moeraki, has signed off tbe vessel's articles. He has been succeeded by Mr. V. L. Binns. Mr. P. A. Chappell has joined the Moeraki as purser Captain G. Sorrensen has taken over command of the auxiliary schooner Houto in place of Captain W. Jennings. Captain C. Cliff, has resumed command of the Manuka. Captain L. Worrall has been transferred to the Moeraki in place of Captain W. Collins, who ha 3 gone on holiday leave. Mr. W. F. Long, third officer of the Komata, ha 3 left that vessel.

Tha Talnne is due at Auckland from Papeete, via Pacific ports, om Thursday next. To load for Home the Port Pirie is to sail from New Plymouth for Newcastle on Sunday morning. On completion of loading in Australia the vessel will sail tor London, via South Africa. The Moana, -which Is at present laid up at Wellington, is to be recomniissioned next ■week, and is set down to sail for Sydney and Hobart on Thursday. The Westralla is to leave Melbourne on Friday next for Wellington direct. The vessel is due here on the 20th October, and is to sail two days later on the return trip to Melbourne, via Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Ulimaroa is to sail from Sydney on Thursday next for Wellington direct. The vessel 13 due on the IStli October. The Flora is due at Wellington on Monday from New Plymouth, and will sail the following day on the return trip, via Lyttelton. Scales' barque Raupo left Wellington yesterday for Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand. The Kuahlne arrived at Newport News on the 4th October from Wellington, and sailed on the 6th October for Southampton and London. Tha liner Eunio left Brisbane on Thursday afternoon for Lyttelton and Gisborne to load fo the United Kingdom. She will leave Gisborne towards the end of October for Homa via Australian ports and South Africa. The Melbourne Steam Ship Company's freighter Perth, to the locul agency of J. A. The West Halbrook Is due at Auckland from San Francisco to-morrow. The veßsel is due at Wellington on the 18th October.

The Otlra arrived at Wellington last evening from Bristol, Montreal, and Nova Scotia, via Panama and Auckland. The vessel is to leave Wellington about Tuesday for Melbourne and Sydney.

The Corinthic is to leave Wellington on Tuesday for Auckland, and is due back here on the 27th October. She will sail o nthe 3rd November for Southampton and London, via.

The lonic is reported as having left Southampton on the 7ih October for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at Lyttelton on the 22nd November.

The Otarama arrived at Panama on the sth October from New Zealand, and sailed the same day from Colon for Newport News, Southampton, and Hull.
