PRIMARY SCHOOLS' TOURNAMENT

The following are the names of tho players who will represent the primary schools in the four districts participating in the Rugby tournament which commence to-morrow :-—

Wairarapa: Merson, Williams (2), Chamberlain, Wilkinson, Watson, Rose Ogden, Holmwood, Tilson, Sates, Hill Brunton, Peterson, Kingi, Gray, Coulter Rogers, Donald, Renall, Stevens. Wellington: Nicholls, Walls, Cropp, Norris, Ward, King, Wiubarn, Waitai, Wixon, Wonnocott;; Fordham (2), Shannon, Clark, Robertson, Langford, Stewart, Barrett, Fitzmaurice. The various fixtures, and the location of the games, are as follow:—Tuesday, 3 p.m., at Newtown Park, Wellington v. . Wanganui; Wairarapa v. Manawatu. I Wednesday, at Petone: Wanganui v. Manawatu ; Wellington v. Wairarapu Friday, 3 p.m., at Athletic Park: Manawatu v. Wellington; Wanganui v. I Wairarapa. Messrs. A. .W. Thompson and Bates will accompany the Manawatu boys, and Messrs. H. Miller and W. L. Baskville will have charge of the Wairarapa team. The Wellington boys have been kept in training and coached during the fort- I night's vacation by Mr. J. Lynsky, and it is expected that they will make a good I showing in . their games. The last tournament, which provided very even contests right through, was won by Mana- •' watu, with Wairarapa second, and Wei- ! lington and Wanganui a tie for third ' place.
