PETONE TECHNICAL SCHOOL
The monthly meeting of the Board of Managers of the Petone Technical School was held' this 'week. The ' director reported that the boot-repairing class.had been started with 15 studente, and it was hoped more would .apply. The cost of the apparatus and material had .been £14 8s ,3d, of which the board would probably pay £12 17s 4d. „ TheWector was congratulated on having had his balance:sheet returned from the Government Auditor without comment. The treasurer reported that the bank balance was £179 12s 6d. Professor Hunter offered to find a lecturer for delivering a popular lecture, and the director was asked to communicate with him.
