TOO MUCH REPAROA.
There have been numerous . questions asked this session, particularly by Mr. Parry (Auckland Central) with reference to the Reparoa Estate. When he rose in the House of Representatives yesterday to refer to the matter again, a member inquired sarcastically, "Where is Reparoa?" No doubt the majority of members could answer the question by now, though some might think it was a suburb of Auckland Central. Those who could not say where the estate is would probably have less difficulty in saying where it ought to be. The Minister of Lands (Hon. D. H. Guthrie), usually a most patient man, even shows signs of having come to the end of his stock of endurance : "I am perfectly sick of questions like this," he declared; "making aspersions when there is no foundation for them at all. I must ask the hon. member to put the question on the Order Paper, so that members and the public may .know what the position is."
