POLISH REQUEST FOR PROMPT HELP

Lubomirski, says that Poland is about to ask for immediate American assistance in the form of an extension of oredits for the purchase of war stocks. (Received August 12, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, 11th August. President Wilson will, soon extend material aid to Poland in conformity with the promise to use all the available means to protect the independence of Poland.
