An <?xtremely interesting lecture will be delivered at the Petone Technical School on Thursday, 12th August, at 7.30 p.m., on the subject of "Chemistry and Industry," by Mr. W. Donovan, M.Sc, Assistant Analyst at the Dominion Laboratory. This is one of the scries of jectures arranged by the Board of Directors to bring before the public the- claims of technical education. Admission is free., and a cordial invitation is extoniled to tlie public to bo present. Tho lecture wilUshow the trernondoua possibilities of tho progress of industry through tho etudy of chemistry.
