A STATEMENT DENIED
OWNERSHIP OF SAMOAN TIMES.
The Minister for External Affairs (Hon. E. P. Lee) was asked by a. Post reporter if it were correct, as stated by Mr. Holland in the House early this morning, that the New Zealand Government had acquired an interest in the Samoan Times. Mr. Lee replied that it was incorrect. , "The Government has no interest and no controlling influence in the paper."
