SYDNEY, SBth July. In view of the boycott of the Peninsular and Oriental Company arising out of the Jerger deportation, the company is asking the Federal Government for compensation for- any loss incurred. The wharf labourers refused work on the steamer Berrima to-day and were replaced by men from the shipping labourbureau.
