HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

The new programme at His Majesty's Theatre is one of the best all-vaudeville entertainments offered by the Fuller management this year, for there ia ample variety and the standard of the turns is generally high". Many of the acts are excellent, particularly those of the several acrobatic groups appearing. La Rose and La Rose, who made their first appearance last evening, are a daring pair of trapeze and ladder artists, and the male member is also a very capable trick gymnast. The two Fishers, aleo on their first visit, do excellent work in a grotesque gymnastic scene,, and later ■in tumbling, acrobatic, and contortionist work.' Fullers' Nine Wonders are well named, for the girls comprising the troupe do really wonderful work in their dashing dancing, tumbling, and pyramidbuildinEj turn. The Artois Bros, horizontal bar experts, repeated the specialty which gained them their popularity last week. Maggie Buckley, a, n-ew singer to Wellington, was very well received. George Boss, another . newcomer, makes a specialty of trick piano and trombone playing, helped along by a running patter. His turn is clever but a trifle crude in parts. Mons. Poincaire, the clever whistler and bird mimic, Tilton and West, in quite bright song and patter, Jennings and Gerard, who ■put on a novel song and breakdown dance turn, the Falvey Sisters. Joe Teague, a singer with a remarkable double range of notes, and Professor Abdy, with his well-trained cockatoos. cats, and dogs, also appear on the bill. The entertainment ■■will be repeated each evening this week, and at a matinee on Saturday.
