ANNUAL CONFERENCE,
The annual conference of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association was continued yesterday. It was decided to communicate with the Prime Minister, and ask him to give a more definite reply to the deputation that waited upon him early in May in respect to salaries. At to-day's meeting it was decided to amend the constitution of- the association to permit the election of an executive committee, which shall 1 meet quarterly in Wellington, and shall consist of eight members chosen by and from the annual conference (four from each island), together with the president and treasurer of the association.
