LONDON, 10th June. . The Financial News, in,a leader, says the resignation ma,y create an awkward position. It leaves the financial negotiations in the a.ir, whatever may be the result of his action on his 6ympathet'c colleagues in Mr. Hughes's Cabinet. This isa pity, because the negotiations were of first-rate importance. Poseibly come statement of the exact nature ot the strain between Mr. Hughes and Mr. Watt may shortly be made.
