OUR THEATRE.
Nat Gould's sporting story, "A Fortune at Stake," is 'to be presented iri picture form at' Our Theatre to-night. The many racing scenes are cleverly reproduced, under English direction, and not tho least exciting is the race in which the hero rides to win a fortune and a girl. There will be good supports.
An entertainment under the auspices of the V.M.C.A. was given for the benefit of hospital patients at Trentham Military Hospital by Braund's Elite Orchestra (of Wellington). Several vocal and elocutionary items were also given, and the boys showed their appreciation ■by sending the party on their homeward journey with three hearty cheera.
